Country Persuits

Linda, my friend has got me interested in doing a theme on mixed media monday, Its is to produce a piece that represents your country or its perception. Well i thought id kill two birds with one stone and use it to get few early st. patricks days cards done. Cant get more irish then this.................ok, im doing a guiness and whiskey one too......lol

What Angels see....................

OOOOOhhh wonder what they are looking in at. Must be my friend Sue up to mischief again. Poor lickle angels subjected to that. The flourish stamp is by Linda Luckin designs, please see link at right hand side.

winter fun brings forth thoughts of spring!

Love the colouring on this. Dovecraft paper as before. Winter doesn't last long when your growing up and soon the spring brings forth new pleasures , .......oh too soon. Aah see, i have got an ounce romance left in this old body, best watch that lol.

Last sheet chrissey paper gets an outing.

While searching for winter sports images for the gothic arch challenge, i came upon these images on a 12 x12 sheet from dovecraft. It was a shame not to use them and im pleading and stretching it a bit to make these my winter sports theme challenge . Well, we can but try.

Last gypsy for today!

Ok. this is my last attempt to get this...................minx to stamp, and it in true fashion was as much a flop as previously lol. I have tried every ink pad, tried different ways of applying, brayer, pounced ,twisted .................but she aint playing nice. Anyway last of the ones for now. Phew.

This is for the minx who got me addicted to all this.......................may she feel no remorse.lol

Here comes the other girls

ok, this one just was a fun take on a comment my friend rachel made, but my french been fairly non existant , i have still got to find out if plume is masculine or feminine in french. Anyhow easy to remedy later.

Parade of slightly battered gypsy ladies

Hi, after completing the challenge earlier, it suddently dawned on me i had a gypsy stamp , hidden in the messy room of mine. After finding the stamp, and 2 and half hours later still not getting decent stamp from it, i was not a happy lady. This lady definetly is a tramp. lol. So, we now have a series of them, all in "distressed mode". Kinda like them, but that stamp will go back ahide, dont you just hate slightly dodgy stamps. grrrr.

Another gypsy one.....

Love this image too. Its a little on the pale side been taken from a very old cabinet card. but i loved the pinkish tone and the slightly muted faded look. Had to see these ladies used.

Another simple one

Just love the twinkle in her eye, reminds me of my friend Rachel. lol
